The Brothers Chaps, creators of Homestar Runner, have apparently been working on a few new things besides the latest Strongbad Email (which is coming soon the site says). They have launched 4 of the Videlectrix titles (Atari styled games based on their cartoons), for the…Wii.
The page is Videlectrix.com/vii, and you can navigate to it on your Wii through the Opera browser. The games are optimized with special controlls that work with the Wii Remote.

This is the first time that I’m aware of a site optimizing it’s online games to work with the Wii. This is becoming my favorite gaming platform of all time.
Also, Wii News launched this past weekend. Make sure to check out that channel on your Wii if you haven’t already.
I’ve been having a blast with my new Nintendo Wii. There are lots of great items coming out soon for the system. Below are some of the great games. Zelda: A Link to the Past was released under the virutal console yesterday for 800 Wii points. I am most excited about Wii Play with Wii Remote for $49, because the extra Wii Remote is something I’ve been wanting to buy.
I think my first game purchase will be Wario Ware, as that I really like seeing ways that the remote can be used. It’s really the main appeal to the system, the interactivity between yourself and the gameplay.

I’m sitting outside of Circuit City 3rd in line for the Wii. There is an employee out here with his friend, who has said there is only 6 on hand in store. My friend should be here soon to take his place in line. More updates to come throughout the night.

This Sunday, both Best Buy and Circuit City are scheduled to release a bunch of Nintendo Wii’s out on the world. With the coupon below, you can get $40 off any purchase over $199, bringing the $249 wii price to $209.

I may not have a place to live, but a deal like this is almost too much to pass up. Looks like I will be camping outside of Circuit City this Sunday morning.
Numbers like this always seem a bit skewed, mainly because Nintendo and Sony weren’t able to meet demand of their new units this year.
According to research firm NPD Microsoft sold two million Xbox 360 consoles in the USA between the beginning of November and Christmas Day. Over the same period Nintendo sold 1.8 million Wii consoles, and Sony sold 750,000 Playstation 3 units.
I do admit that almost every time I was in any electronics store, I saw someone with a Xbox 360 in their hands at checkout.
I am still waiting to find a Wii to purchase, in the meantime I’m getting excited about the G6Lite I am getting within the next few weeks for my DS Lite.
Rumor: Apple and Nintendo forming an alliance to bring us the Podfondo at MacWorld. Now granted this is a partnership I’ve wanted to see happen for a long time now, being as both companies are pretty hush hush on new products, create iconic and beautiful products, and hell it would just be pretty sweet.
Do I believe this rumor? Well the first meeting took place on Apple’s 30th anniversary April 1, 2006 (April Fool’s day), and with SOOO much info being known, this rumor is one that I’m going to say is certainly not true, although I wish it were.
Anything exciting for Christmas? I got only 1 tech item, a new game I’ve been wanting for my DS Lite, and my dad, and brother played it for quite some time last night.
Other then that I got a bunch of bowling items, including a new ball and shoes. I received tickets to Spamalot when it opens here in Tampa with my brothers as well. I did order an Invisible Shield for my Zune to protect the screen from scratches, and am going to re-new the Zune Marketplace account.
I know a few people got Blackberry Pearls for Christmas, make sure to read my post about using it as a bluetooth modem.
Also, don’t forget to check out iTunes has a 3 for 2 special on select music videos right now, a perfect way to help fill up that new iPod you might of gotten. Some of the sets are even cheaper then regular, I just got 6 music videos for $5.98.
