Yep…only $2 for your favorite Starbucks cold beverages…all you have to do is find a receipt lying on the ground, or actually go out and buy some morning coffee and bring that receipt back sometime after 2pm and your Grande (16oz) cold drink is only $2.
Now of course things like this couldn’t last forever, but it will last from now (August 5th) thru September 2nd which is really the end of summer anyway (unless you live in San Francisco where they have Indian Summers or Florida where it never leaves summertime).
BTW b/c of my diet I don’t visit Starbucks very often as the only 3 drinks I can stand there (Vanilla Bean Frappuccino, Straberry Cream Frappuccino, and Caramel Apple Cider) are waaaaaaay too high in carbs, fat, etc, and I can’t stand coffee or tea.

I’ve been having a blast with my new Nintendo Wii. There are lots of great items coming out soon for the system. Below are some of the great games. Zelda: A Link to the Past was released under the virutal console yesterday for 800 Wii points. I am most excited about Wii Play with Wii Remote for $49, because the extra Wii Remote is something I’ve been wanting to buy.
I think my first game purchase will be Wario Ware, as that I really like seeing ways that the remote can be used. It’s really the main appeal to the system, the interactivity between yourself and the gameplay.
Looks like Google has been working hard on getting merchants to use their new service. Check out this page that lists a bunch of companies now accepting Google Checkout.

They even have about 16 stores where you get $10 off a purchase of $20 or more. These stores include: Starbucks, uBid, Magazines.com, eCost and more.

Some major stores I shop at are included in taking Google Checkout already. Buy.com, Aeropostale, Fossil, Dockers, and weaKnees.

This new product is going to change the face of online purchases. It’s cheaper and easier than PayPal, why wouldn’t you move your online business to Google Checkout?
Tomorrow is Earth Day. Many companies including Starbucks are having special events today to help clean up. Check here where your local baristas are meeting to clean up the earth.
Personally I say:
P.S. That last part is a joke
Thanks to Mike at ThoughtOut.biz for buying me this NY city Starbucks cup to add to my city collection.
Thanks to Nat and Sal for sending me this mug from Beijing. I love the box it came in too.
Thanks again!
