Be right back

Nick Starr | June 19, 2006

I’m not sure, but in IE, the site is a little unstable. I am going to find a new theme and switch it today asap.

I appoligize for the interruption, in the meantime, you should download Firefox…

UPDATE: Looks like it’s all fixed. Some strange code in the footer (which hadn’t been changed), oh well. Thanks to everyone who pointed it out to me.

Internet Explorer 7 Beta 2

Nick Starr | April 25, 2006

If you are wanting to know what the next version of IE will look like, here’s your chance to try it out.

Personally, I still (after installing this) feel that Firefox is a better option, but everyone has their own opinion.

Firefox goes Universal

Nick Starr | April 14, 2006

It’s about time. I’ve been using Caminio which has been universal for a while now. Firefox running in rosetta mode would take forever to use and was the slowest browser I’ve used on my Intel Mac Mini Core Duo. Now, it is just as fast as Caminio.

I like that you can add extensions to Firefox but not to Caminio. Not sure which one I will move on with using as my default browser. I do have to say that 512 ram on a Mac is NOT enough. I have the feeling I did when I first got my iBook 1.33 with 256 ram…the feeling that I don’t like using it. Time to pop that puppy open and get more ram.

Sure it’s cute, but really isn’t this taking it a bit far?

Mozilla Lightning

Nick Starr | March 21, 2006

Lightning is Mozilla’s version of a calendar feature that will eventually be incorporated into Thunderbird. It is only in EARLY beta at a 0.1 release. It’s free to try out, but again it’s only version 0.1….I wouldn’t rely too heavily on it. Check it out.
