Blogger is beta no more
21 12 2006Google’s Blogger service has dropped it’s beta tag. If you are a long time user of Blogger, log into your account and click on “Switch now.” A lot of accounts have already been upgraded. You can then use your Gmail/Google account or sign up for one if you don’t yet have one for free.
Lot of features in this new version of Blogger. Google describes a few of the features:
The new version of Blogger is metaphorically bursting with features, from the big guns like drag-and-drop template editing and post labels (which are perfect, by the way, for indexing the 131 historical figures you may have written about), to little polishes like a better-designed Dashboard or that you no longer need to solve a word verification CAPTCHA to post a comment on your own blog.
If I didn’t need complete flexibility to my sites, I would be using Blogger or Wordpress.com. These are both great tools for creating a blog with little to no setup. Just start blogging within minutes. I know and subscribe to tons of great blogs that are on Blogger.
