31 Oct 06 Google gets Wiki with it

Today Google announced they have purchased the wiki company JotSpot. I personally have never used JotSpot in the past, but almost any wiki service has to be better than MediaWiki. WetPaint has become my favorite wiki client of late, and I certainly hope that JotSpot is as easy to use for the wiki crowd as WetPaint is.

Registration is down currently for new users, but look for it to be up soon where you can use your Google ID to sign in.

I look forward to how Google will integrate this into their new “office” type suite of products. I think that it could tie in quite well with Google Notebook.
