Well BoyGenius has released some pictures of the new Blackberry 8800, aka the Indigo, which will be out either sometime late this year, or early next year. It is similar to the Pearl, but with a full QWERTY keyboard, and no camera. There is also rumor that this model will have WiFi.

So far I am happy with the Pearl and the SureType keyboard. I like that it feels like a real phone, and not a data device, but yet still has all of the functions of a full Blackberry. We will see once this model comes out if I want to go back to full QWERTY or not.

Because I don’t know (as it has been pointed out) that I can honestly compare the Zune vs the iPod without bias, I found an article that shows the major differences between the two mp3 players.

I will say that iPod wins 6 to 5 on features over the Zune, but it all depends on your choice. The major drive that the Zune has is the “social” aspect where you can share files, but only for a set period, wirelessly with friends who also have Zunes.

The new iPod shuffle that is set to launch in October is now available for pre-order on Amazon.com. Apple has not released any information about when this product will be released in October, but Amazon shows October 11th as the ship date.

Keep in mind, buying from Amazon offers free shipping and no sales tax, compared from ordering from Apple, which now no longer offers the student discount on iPods. This iPod shuffle is 1 gig and retails for $79.

The U2 iPod has been updated to the new 60% brighter screen, search, and other enhanced 5.5G iPod features. It remains at 30 gigs, but has gone from $329 to $279 in price.

For some reason right now you must visit this page to order the U2 iPod as that it isn’t showing up in the main Apple online store.

Like the previous model, it features an all black case, even the back is a shiny black, with red wheel and all of U2’s autographs on the back. I’ve always liked the color of this iPod, but just never got into U2. Maybe I can get my white 80 gig iPod colored to look like this with ColorwarePC.

Update: Amazon has the 30 GB iPod U2 Special Edition for $249, thus reducing the premium $30 you pay for this iPod at the Apple Store.
