25 Jul 06 Apple now selling Bluetooth Mighty Mouse

A day after the docs were found on the FCC’s website, Apple has launched the bluetooth Mighty Mouse. It is almost exactly the same as the origional Mighty Mouse, but this one runs on batteries….that is where it is a bit strange.

It can run on one or two batteries. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a device that will still run with only one of the batteries working.

There is one other major difference. The Bluetooth version has a laser instead of simply an optical sensor for increased accuracy.

The price is $69 for student and regular pricing…which sort of sucks.  Needless to say, I am certainly buying one for my new MacBook.
