Apple has been running an offer like this for a few years now. I almost wish I had waited an extra few weeks to get my MacBook….oh well.

From today, June 5 thru September 16th, when you buy any Mac (excluding the Mac Mini) and any iPod, you get a $179 mail-in rebate. Essentially you get a free 2 gig iPod nano, or $179 off the price of any other iPod.

With the new Nike+iPod deal coming out soon for the nano only, this is a great deal.
