T-Mobile Blackberry 8700g - Available
18 04 2006
FINALLY, there is the update to the 7290 Blackberry for T-mobile. It has EDGE, Bluetooth, and all of the other features you would expect in a Blackberry. The screen is brighter, and I think this model allows musical ringtones.
It is $399 with $100 in rebates with a new account.
Update: Ordered mine…$349 for me plus a $50 mail in rebate. Anyone want my 7290?

[...] T-Mobile Blackberry 7290…I’ve upgraded to the Blackberry 8700 (and maybe Sidekick 3). This is the Blackberry that has become the industry standard. Great for a phone, IM client, Google maps, 411, PUSH email, and will work on corporate and non-corp networks. It’s the phone that got me to switch from the Sidekick series, so it HAS to be a great phone. [...]

Not long after switching to Blackberry, they came out with the 8700g, and you know me I bought it that day. I tried my hand at making some extra Moola. I got some Google gum (yuck) and created Google Calendar Button with Adam. [...]
