After this hastle today of switching my numbers around and getting my Blackberry setup, I barely want to talk about cell phones…but this little tidbit just came to me under my comments.

Now I went to Sharpsec.com and found that it is Sharp’s website. Now this may not strike you are strange, but if you take into consideration that Sharp is the manufacturer of the Sidekick product created by Danger, then YES this is HUGE!
Now Tmobile is ultimatetly the one who will determine the launch date, but I’m sure they give the makers a timeframe to get enough to go to market with.
If the person who kindly left the comment ever wants to email me directly 
about any other specifics about the phone (bluetooth, EDGE, Gtalk, etc) I would be willing to keep their identity confidential.
Looks like Gizmodo got a tip about April being the launch as well.
So you heard it here first….The Sidekick 3 WILL be out in April! Digg this story.

Just so you know…I heard from the company that is organizing the T-Mobile launch party that they are planning to host an event on June 6th somewhere in LA. So I highly doubt that the new sidekick will be on the street before all the celebs get their hands on them…Expect a release sometime in June, I would assume…
I have heard so many different rumors about realease dates for sk3 I don’t know what to believe anymore! I just hope it comes out soon cuz my sk2 is bout to bite the dust I already have a sk2 and a nextel i930 and I’m bout to make the i930 my only phone. I have seen a different picture of the sk3 on photobucket, but this is the most commonly circulated. I hope this is it, cuz it looks sweet!

The Sidekick III is being released on April 6th, but dont buy it because on October 8th The Sidekick III + UMA which is the same thing with a great connection capability. So just wait!
Hint: In 2007 The next Sidekick is comin out and its gonna be as thin as a RAZR and gonna have Video cababilities.
Thats what i heard also .. i called a tmobile retail store telling me not to buy a sidekick 2 because they are discontinuing them and they are just trying to sell all the left over sidekicks and they told me just to wait till sidekick 3 is out because its comming out soon and he said that it would be comming out around early april of this year.. i dont know if thats true but thats what he told me
i went to T-Mobile to look into changing phones, and the sales person told me to wait kuz the SKIII will be out within 2 months. im looking forward to it…
why get the sidekick 3 when there are better cell phones out there like the cingular 8125 pocket pc. that phone can be hooked up to speakers and it plays mp3 files and everything i have tmobile but i wanna get it and get it unlocked it has everything the sk’s have but more and better check it out.
Hey, just called retail store. They said that their is no way that the sidekick 3 will be out this month…they said summer…around JULY! hey guys.. just woke up this morning and i remember hearing a rumor that the sk3 would be out today.. i just went on tmobile.com and no sign of a sidekick 3, BUT the mister cartoon sidekick has now been removed from the website, and yes, it was there yesterday (i checked) well.. just thought i’d throw that out there for you guys.. im off to eat some cereal. later.

I dropped my sk2 and bought an MDA instead…i 100% hate this phone and cant wait for the new sidekick to come out. If you like using aim or instant messaging DO NOT buy an MDA it doesnt refresh, doesnt stay connected, and gives you messages up to 5 minutes after sent from a friend, doesnt log you off when you sign on from your computer, doesnt let you know who is idle, doesnt alert you if someone comes on or logs off…you have to hit refresh and when you hit refresh its hit or miss if it catches who is online or not…..It was a total waste of money for me and costs more a month. I feel like a total dork buying it.

Hey, I work for a Tmobile retail store and I’ve been working there for 2 yrs (ever since the sidekick 1 came out)
I have the mr cartoon sidekick right now… For everyone out there, we stillll don’t have any news on the sidekick 3 comming out.. For about 99% of our new phones we alwaysssssss get a communication in our email that’s comes out about 2 months in advance. I guarantee there isn’t going to be any new sidekick comming out until summer if not until christmas…
I was checkin out some pictures of that sidekick and it looks way legit! A customer came in the store today and brought it to my attention.. If your huge on sidekick and you like all of the AIM features, phonebook, applications and what not…. Stickkk with a sidekick!!! The MDA is a pretty sweet device and the feature that you can get for it is the best deal is wirelesss! Personally I love my sidekick and ill probably stick with it!
Any customers of T-mobile out there… Hang in and wait… Even if your contract is up!! T-mobile is wayy up there now and everything is just getting better!
OH MYYYYYY GOOOOOOOD!!!!!!!! OK.. everybody listen here: I JUST finished getting of the phone with TWO T-Mobile Representatives by calling 611 from my tmobile phone, and also by calling toll-free at 1-800-937-8997 from a landline phone (with the second rep.), AND I specificly asked, “Is there a Sidekick III coming out for tmobile? Because I have heard so many rumors online (like this site i.e.)” and she said “No, we have gotten quite a few calls about this, and we would be notified first by Danger and Sharp if there is one coming out atleast one month prior”.. and i even told her about these images i saw online, and i asked her (both of them) to go on google or yahoo, and go on images and type “Sidekick III” and they both did, and they said those images are found NOWHERE in there database, and she said they were not real, and probably done by a photoshop expert (and she even said where you see the logo of t-mobile, the person probably tried blurring the logo so they wouldn’t get sued), and i was so greatful to know the final answer, and I even told one of them that over the weekend i went to a tmobile store, and one of the workers there said the sidekick III will be out on the 17th, but she even told me that the actual company would know before any branches of stores for t-mobile.. and that is sooo true what she said, and that guy just prob. listened to all he rumors, sooo in anycase, im soooo sorry to disappoint some people (including myself) :”( , but no sidekick III yet, but she said their will be one before 2007 for sure.. anyway, feel free to email me asking ANY quesions about this.. Ok there is something going on here lets put some things in mind the rumos are getther bigger and bigger t mobile has stop selling the sidekick2 iff u call 611 on ur t mo phone and ask them they have any in stock i have called 4 stores they all have told me they dont have any sidekicks in stock they also sed they dont know no store that has them.the pics of the sidekick 3 have the t mo logos so these have to be the real thing but if u look at some of the pics there is a motorola v600 phone in the backround …. why would someone have the sidekick in there hand have a sorry ass phone like that ?? wouldnt u think if he has the right to have the sidekick 3 on his hand that he would have a better phone on the table..?? but anyways that has to be the real think i saw somewhere that it was out today well no sidekick came out today i also know that the celbs will be the 1st one to get them and something as big as the sidekick 3 would most likey have a big party to relase it now i also seen some sort of a :sidekick project map” or somthing like that any ways they have pics that in april the sidekick 3 will come out then they show the limited ed one and then the razor sidekick now i dont know if it was real but it had the t mo logo it looked real i also heard it might be coming out the 25 of april now this looks correct bcuz of everything that is going on with the rumors the “out of stock sidekick2″ and all that other stuff also one more thing the ppl you call at t mo when u dail 611 they cant say anything about it since it is such a big thing that is about to happen keep in mind t mo is going strong and getthing bigger as days pass by and the sidekick 3 will be somthing eles to put t mo on the map so even with me saying all this and all the other rumos all we can do is wait and wait and see and all i know is that when it comes out im going to buy it the 1st day !

Alright so just FYI. I talked to T-Mobile tonight about cancelling my service and I was informed that the Sidekick III WILL be out this year and I did get confirmation that the “leak” photos were the very same ones that T-Mobile received about two weeks ago from Danger.
This is real folks. Sidekick III will be out shortly and T-Mobile is looking at a 299-399 price for the phone.
on sunday the FCC aproved the sidekick 3. so its deffinately coming. I read somewhere that the sidekick 3 release party is on june 6th in LA. Does neone know how to get in?! lol. For all of you that are anxiously awaiting the sidekick 3 that currently have sidekick 2’s or other fones do not wait until 2007 to get the razar sidekick 3.. by 2007 your original sidekick 3 will have broken and will need to be replaced anyway

I’ve heard that the it’s going to have bluetooth, a 1.3 megapixel camera with flash, a memory card to store media files on, a removable battery, it’s going to be a quad-band phone, it’s to be provided only by T-Mobileno rubber straps, a video player, an mp3 player a joystick like on a PSP instead of a scroll, and it’s going to be smaller than the Sidekick 2!!!
I’ve also heard that the Sidekick 3 is going to cost somewere around $300-$500. And that the Sidekick 2 has been discontiued because of that release of the Sidekick 3.

The screen is relatively the same as the sidekick2. The phone comes out on june 28th for two stores in the US, santa monica and new york. You can also upgrade online (tmobile.com) or call 611 from your phone on 6/28 to preform an upgrade. If you are not currently a sidekick or T-mobile customer you must wait until july 10th. As far as the exact time on 6/28 that existing subscribers can upgrade, I would say that midnight Eastern Standard Time would be the best time to start calling/loggin in. There is a very limiited quantities of these phones, since they are just prepping for the fullscale launch on july 10th.
The phone flips out just like the previous models, you can see reviews and videos on the sidekick 3 at cnet.com or hiptop3.com
Right now the biggest problem is the screen, and voting off sidekick3.blogspot.com is almost neck and neck for those people who would not upgrade vs those people who will upgrade to the sidekick 3.
