24 Mar 06 Sidekick 3 – JUNE 28 OFFICIALLY!

After this hastle today of switching my numbers around and getting my Blackberry setup, I barely want to talk about cell phones…but this little tidbit just came to me under my comments.

Now I went to Sharpsec.com and found that it is Sharp’s website. Now this may not strike you are strange, but if you take into consideration that Sharp is the manufacturer of the Sidekick product created by Danger, then YES this is HUGE!

Now Tmobile is ultimatetly the one who will determine the launch date, but I’m sure they give the makers a timeframe to get enough to go to market with.

If the person who kindly left the comment ever wants to email me directly about any other specifics about the phone (bluetooth, EDGE, Gtalk, etc) I would be willing to keep their identity confidential.

Looks like Gizmodo got a tip about April being the launch as well.

So you heard it here first….The Sidekick 3 WILL be out in April! Digg this story.

Update: Looks like June 26th is the unofficial launch date now.
