Google buys Writetly
Nick Starr | March 9, 2006
Today Google bought Writetly the web based document editor. They have closed down new registrations until the switch to Google is complete. This is going to be a great tool for the Google Net. CL2, Google’s calendar and now a Word type program for free….Look out Microsoft Office.
Also, this integrates PERFECTLY with the rumored G-Drive. You can save your word docs right to your G-Drive with one button and have them accessable anywhere. Now that is going to be slick.
