Blackberry + Google Talk = Crazy Delicious
Nick Starr | March 9, 2006
I was looking for a client for the BlackBerry that did Google Talk. There was only one solution I found and it cost $29.95 from Shape Services.
I had read the reports back in January that Google Talk was coming out for the Blackberry, but no dates were set. Now this is my main IM client now that it’s integrated into Gmail, and nearly all of my friends use Gmail.
Well I’m sitting at class last night, and see that it’s out! It’s free and avaliable now. You can view the page with all the details, but the page REQUIRES IE or Blackberry browser only.
Someone I was there with installed it directly from their blackberry browser, and it seems to work great. I can’t wait to get my blackberry in the mail.
