The real video iPod?

This is 99% sure to be a fake, but it is like all of the others that are around, so it is becoming more and more of what people think will be the video iPod.

Update: The main reason I believe this to be fake, is that Apple would be issuing lawsuits to YouTube and whoever uploaded the video by now if it were real. Everyone knows how secretive Apple is about their products, they would not allow a MAJOR leak like this to go on this long.

Also, I do THINK it looks VERY close to what the next iPod will look at based on patent filings from Apple. I would KILL to own one of these, and no matter what the next iPod looks like, I will be buying it.

I concur with Chidi O, what makes you “99% sure” that this is fake?

I don’t believe I am more or less skeptical than most people, but it’s irrational and illogical to call something fake without reason or evidence. Now perhaps you have your reason (or even evidence) but without providing them, your comments are rather meaningless…

I think an iPod video in that design would be better with an lcd remote, touch screen on a video player? That would last like 6 months before it’s dirty as fuck. But I would so buy one anyway.

At least the scroll-click wheel is made for right-handers, which is logical it would be. (I am lef-handed though and wonder about it because my hand would cover up the video or pictures or music menus, etc.) I guess I would get used to it, unless Apple offered a left or right-handed model!!!!!!!!!

Robert–If it were real, I’d bet Apple would have the smarts to make the location of the scroll wheel selectable–it’s just SW after all, and Apple loves to show off that sort of attention to detail…
