Gmail is making me sad

9 02 2006

I got my Gmail invite back when it was EARLY beta and invites were going from $50-$200 on eBay. I’ve use Gmail pratically everyday since then.

The friend who gave me the invite after I bribed him with Pizza and Dr. Pepper (he only had 3), hasn’t gotten Gmali with GTalk, and neither have I.

EVERYONE ELSE I know has Gmail with Gtalk. Why have you forsaken me Gmail? Why?

I’ve tried every trick that I’ve seen online (Switch to English UK then back to English US, change your password sign out then log back in). Nothing.

Anyone who has gotten this, did it just occur, or did it happen when you logged in? I stay logged in all day, but today I’ve been logging in and out. Any help? Please? I am begging you and/or Google, give me my Gtalk!

I don’t have it either yet… and I have 3 accounts.

Should I post up another screenshot for you?

I stay logged in all the time, mine just appeared two days ago. Maybe you need to download the latest GTalk [1.0.0.86] and specify you want GMail to save chats.

I got it after my first gtalk chat. Do you use Gtalk very often?

You can see nick’s gtalk session with me on the screenshot he posted. Believe me when I say, he’s tried EVERYTHING.

Me neither, but it took me a while to get RSS feeds too.
