Firefox 2.0 Alpha 1 Comes Out Friday!
Nick Starr | February 7, 2006
Mozilla Firefox is set to reach 2.0 in Alpha 1 on Friday. I am usually an early adopter of new programs, but Firefox’s extensions are VERY version specific, and need to be updated EVERY time there is a new version.
I wish there was a way to easily fix this, instead of going into the about screen and hacking around with it everytime there is a new Firefox version.
I typically use Safari on my mac anyway.
You can find a new feature list here. Some cool features are in-line spell check, better use of cache, anti-phishing, new history system, etc.
