Happy Graduation Google News!
Nick Starr | January 24, 2006
It only took 1,219 days for Google News to graduate out of beta, but it’s been worth it. If you are doing the math that is 3.339 years.
It seems as if they wanted to get the customization part completed before they came out of beta. It’s a great news service, especially since they added RSS feeds back in August 9, 2005. I remember that was one of my first stories to get on the main page of Digg.com.
Well congrats Google on a job well done!
