Brand new iMac G5 20″
Nick Starr | January 4, 2006
Well the other day I mentioned my brother wanted a new computer, well we went to the Apple Store over at iMall in Tampa and he bought a 20″ iMac G5.
He is keen on having Windows run on it, so we ordered 2 gigs of memory (aftermarket) that I will put in, so he can run it with as little lag as possible.
He seemed pretty impressed with it. The one negative thing, the sales guy at the Apple store said it came with a DVI dongle for output to another monitor, yet it didn’t. That sucks.
I’m sure he will enjoy the system…funny how I am now envious of my brother’s system, hrmph.

siuyee | January 4, 2006That’s what I am using now. I tried VIrtualPC+ Windows, but it’s dead slow. How did your brother do it?
(I tried linux + Vmware + windows, and that’s a lot faster than the virtual pc solution)
