Does using the A/C in a vehicle really use more gas? Last I heard it didn’t. Unless you rode with the windows up too. Rolling down the windows creates enough drag to undo any efficiency gain you might get by not using the A/C.
I’m all for saving costs, but I wouldn’t want to be on a bus with 30+ other kids with the windows closed on a summer afternoon after the bus was sitting in the sun waiting for us to board.
I think it is especially important that they have the windows up because the spit balls won’t go outside. You know, litter and all that…
