Casio Exilim EX-Z57…is here

Just got my FedEx package containing my brand new Casio digial camera. I really have not owned a digital camera before. I got a Sony T1 back a while ago but just to take on a trip.

I REALLY love the screen on this camera. As far as I know it is the largest LCD display on a digital camera at 2.7″.

It is a 5.0 megapixel with 3x optical zoom, which is typical of all lightweight slender digital cameras today. Takes stunning pics from what I have seen. I will upload some later on tonight.

It even comes with a dock…which is part of my 2 small annoyances. The power cord and the usb cord connect to the dock ONLY. They do not connect to the camera at all. Ehh that kinda sucks, oh well just something else to bring with me on long trips.

512 sd I got a 512 SD card for it on NewEgg for $25.99, so I shouldn’t be running out of room for pics anytime soon. Especially since the photo connector for the iPod doesn’t work with the Nano.
