What a burger

Brand new Whataburger opened up very close to my place last night at 8pm. I of course was first in line and enjoyed the incredible burgers and fries they have there. It was funny, there was no one there 5 minutes before 8…but at 8 there was like 50 people.
They really didn’t publicise the opening time, b/c they weren’t sure it would be exactly at 8. They weren’t completly ready to launch (it was obvious), by a few glitches….no ketchup/salt/pepper on the tables, ice machine not working, etc…
In classic Whataburger style there was about 50-80 employees working, and the manager didn’t seem to want to have pictures taken of the HIGHLY overstaffed back area. There was one employee that stood out, Sarah, she was the one getting everyone ketchup and ice from the back, and had a smile on the whole time.
All in all, I will be going back to this WAB quite frequently I’m sure…heck…might even go for lunch….btw Whataburger is open 24/7….ahhhh yeaaaahhhh.
