26 Jul 05 upgrade my iBook?
Today I can sell my 14″ iBook 1.33 GHz, 60 gig HD, 768 ram for around $1000 on eBay.
The new 14″ iBook 1.42 GHz, 60 gig HD, 1 gig ram, bluetooth, and faster bus speed for $1089. With tax and eBay fees, it might be a few hundred…..I want to upgrade, but I don’t think I will. What do you think?
Is it even worth it for the 90 MHz, bluetooth, and 256 ram difference? Also you have the two finger scrolling which I have program that does that for me now.
I would wait for a bigger step forwards… I’m currently on a Powerbook Alu 1,25 and still very happy with it… Almost 3 years now and still not really convinced to trade in…
I would say to keep it. Unless you really need (or want) the built in bluetooth. The speed and memory are both not that great of an increase.
