If you are coming to the site, then you will notice MAJOR change. If you are subscribing to the RSS feed, then hopefully you don’t see too much change as that I think my redirector is working, if not the new feed is at http://NickStarr.com/wp-rss2.php.

I will be finding a theme and tweaking it over the next few days and maybe longer. I just had to switch from Radio Userland, because my internet at home has been really bad and I simply can’t post when it is down. Everything is hosted on my home pc and can’t very easily take the whole pc to Starbucks with me to post.

So I have decided to use WordPress and hopefully it will be a solution that will suit all of my needs. There seems to be a TON of plugins, so bare with me while things change a bit everyday. I am really happy with the program so far.

As for the back catalog of posts. I am going to work on getting those imported to WP, but I can’t make any promises. Right now I have setup http://www.NickStarr.com/oldindex.html as a link to all of the old pages. The comments will NOT be able to be ported over, but you can always use that old index to see them. Sorry, but Radio Userland is just too locked down to get the comments out.

Well off to the drawing board, I hope that this is a smooth transition.

You MIGHT want to change the RSS subscription to the new feed, just incase the redirect ever craps out. Again the feed is at: http://www.NickStarr.com/wp-rss2.php

P.S. I will have the .htaccess fixed sometime this weekend so it redirects the old RSS traffic, for now…the mac isn’t so hidden file friendly.
