Nick Starr.com: Pioneer Square in Portland Oregon

I can’t begin to express what a horrible day today has been. I went into work as just a normal day. I left...early and unemployed.

It would seem as if the proverbial pink slip has struck again...this time in multiple forms.

Well, as The Donald says, "You're Fired."

Well, I move onto bigger and better things...one can only hope. My cousins are working on a project in Miami with promotions in which I would play an IT role. I have a few interviews scheduled for Monday, so all is not lost.

My upcoming trip to LA might be a bit of a SNAFU right now though. I would be flying back at 5:30am on Tuesday morning, so I could just miss one day of work. Let's just hope that my next company will allow me to take a day off on Monday the 23rd.

If you are looking for a multi-talented employee, I am available for hire. I am skilled in everything from Access & MySql Databases, all of Microsoft Office, Mac & PC computers, Customer Relations and Support and an all around hard worker, please feel free to email me [at] Nick Starr.com for a resume.

So, moving onwards I will keep you updated with anything as it arises. Until later...have a great weekend!

Now I love Skype...it's just great the way it works for cheap telephony, and is completly free for other people who have Skype. If you've never used Skype you certainly should download it and try it out. It works on every major platform, including PocketPC.

Well I subscibe to the Skype Journal's blog, and what a great site they have over there. I saw that they put out their Weekend Reading and look whose site was mentioned there:

Well if you are coming over to the site, welcome! I certainly hope that the Samsung phone comes out soon, it's driving me crazy waiting!

VS Sony Electret Condenser Stereo Microphone (ECMDS70P)

The price is very different with these two mics. Griffin cost for the mic is $14.99 and the Sony ECM-DS70P is $51.94. The Sony mic seems to be a condenser mic, and the stats on it seem quite impressive.

We've heard the quality of the Griffin on Adam Curry's Daily Source Code, but once wind hits it...it honestly sounds like crap. I wonder how the Sony holds up. Would be interrestering to see. Might go ahead and buy one.
