Happy Birthday Dave Winer.....it's the big 50! Thanks for your contributions to Radio Userland, RSS, and the web in general! I wish ya the best one on your big day!

Coincidently Disneyland turns 50 as well...and Michael Geoghegan has the podcast direct from Disney itself.

It looks like it is time to buckle down and finally go out to buy a TimeTrax system. Following in the footsteps of Howard Stern, Adam Curry's switch to a 4 hour podcast show on Sirius Radio only has been confirmed by the New York Times. As far as I am aware Sirius Radio doesn't have a portable device for listening or recording of shows.

Timetrax has been producing the software and tools to essentially TiVo your XM radio shows for quite some time. They recently got into the Sirius game. I think I will go out and pay the $169 to get the  TimeTrax Complete Sirius Kit.

This is a loss for podcasting, now that content will not be avaliable for your iPod/mp3 player unless you go out and buy a special piece of hardware to get it to work.

The order is: 1 Silver, 2 Yellow, 3 Lime, 4 Pink, 5 Green, 6 Light Purple, 7 Light-Blue, 8 Blue, 9 Purple, 10 Gold, 11 Brown, and 12 Red.

Well if you haven't heard already,  you are hearing it now. One of the great names in podcasting, the name that can never be pronounced properly, Michael Geoghegan has secured it with DisneyLand to do a 50th Anniversary Podcast from Disneyland this week. It seems that the dates are May 2, 3, and 4th.

I personally know MWG and couldn't be happier for the hard work and effort that he has put out there to be able to get something of this magnitude. It is even a FEATURED item on Disney's own website. Truely an amazing feat has been done here and podcasting will even further be brought into the light!

Check out his feed here. Also check out Disney's website about podcasting, and info about their 50th Anniversary. Way to go Michael!!!

Michael Geoghegan is the host and producer of Reel Reviews: Films Worth Watching (feed). He also produces Grape Radio (feed). He has teamed up Dan Klass to produce Podcast Solutions (feed) for their upcoming book about podcasting. He also has the production company Willnick Productions. [I think the name refers to "Will Nick be coming out with a podcast soon?" ;-) ]

What is with this??? Madge Weinstein found this article on Google News.

Adam Curry, a former MTV host who developed software that lets people automatically receive these programs on Apple's iPod and other players, will produce and be host of a four-hour program every weekday starting May 13 on Sirius Satellite Radio.

Mr. Curry will help choose material for "Adam Curry's PodShow" from some of the thousands of amateur shows produced in basements, living rooms and dormitories. Sirius subscribers, who pay $12.95 a month for the service, can listen to the show on channel 148, "Talk Central."

I wonder what the heck is the deal with this? Will the show be podcast? I am a bit confused by this entire thing.
