Alyce Lomax of The Motley Fool says Apple's iPod shuffle is "the musical equivalent of a gateway drug."

This happend to me...one deal pixel in the upper left corner...not very noticible:

Dead pixel problems on new PSPs?

sony pspThe cries have been heard, and there are many.  It seems Sony pushed those 1 million PSP out to the US a little too quickly, with reports are swarming in regarding units with dead pixels.  Some PSPs seem to have it worse than others: some have large groups of dead dots and even entire rows or columns.  The unit we bought last night had a big dead one right smack in the middle of the screen.  The folks at the Sony store were kind enough to replace our unit quickly and quietly, but reports from some online vendors are less promising.  We’ll keep you updated as this unfolds.

I found this on one of the PSP mac sycn pieces of software....

*Its a radio too

Using third party software such as iPodder (a free download) together with PSPWare, you can listen to live-recorded audio streams on your PSP while you're on your way to school, work, or anywhere!

THAT'S AWESOME!!! Already supporting podcasting....I'm lovin' this PSP!

Apple has kicked of a new iPod shuffle giveaway for college students. "College life is random. We're giving chance a chance and giving away an iPod shuffle every week through September 30, 2005. The iPod shuffle lets you carry your favorite iTunes and your essential files with you all over campus. So whether you are rockin’ the night away or pulling an all nighter, we want to give your life a random soundtrack."

...wait..I'm a college student... hmmm...

First off...this thing is awesome. It is super sleek and simply a beautiful design. Great job Sony. This WILL BE the must have of portable devices. The Nintendo DS is a POS compared to this thing.

There are buttons EVERYWHERE! It came with headphones, headphone remote, Demo disc, Spiderman 2, soft case, battery, 32 meg card, white sony cord, wall charger, and of course a PSP.

MAIN THING I HATE!! I touched the screen and it was smudged instantly. VERY sensative screen....even more so than the iPod, I think b/c it is black and you can see every thing on the screen. LUCKLY, it comes with a soft wipe to wipe if off with. Nice going on that one Sony.

I pop'd in the Demo disc and the graphics were stunning. The racing games all seemed to look the best, and I will probably go get one of those today.

Other than that the sound on DVDs is a bit soft. The wifi was very simple to setup. No way to get "online" yet, but multiplayer mode is done via 802.11b (that's pretty sweet). I can't wait for some sort of Xbox live type service for the PSP....that would rock...sitting in your favorite Starbucks or wifi hotspot multiplayer-ing with your PSP. SWEET!

Well that's it for now....My recommendation...go get one before they are all gone.
