BUBS AS MR. LEGARM: Well look who decided to show up. Fifth time this week, Johnny.

STRONG BAD AS JOHNNY: Oh I'm sorry Mr. Legarm. Honest I am! I just-

MR. LEGARM: {interrupting} You just what? Lost track of time?

JOHNNY: Yes sir. Only I wouldn't have to worry about that if I could just get the Johnny-Tron working.

MR. LEGARM: You still wastin' time workin' on that time machine, Johnny? That's a pipe dream, son! Your future's here at the shop. Now sweep up! I got customers to tend to.

Fun Facts

  • "preeeow" is what Strong Bad says in autobiography and haircut, when attempting to prompt the printer to print out The Paper.
  • "What do you mean do I do anything besides checking e-mails" is a question and Strong Bad didn't use a question mark.
  • The "Hundredaire Socialite magazine" easter egg features the familiar faces of Mike and Matt Chapman; the photo is from Peasant's Quest Preview.
  • You can still make the circles appear on the LCD screen when the power shuts off.
  • You can keep clicking on "preeow" to make the Paper come down again and again.
  • "The League of Me and the Cheat Ice-Cream Socials" is a play probably a play on the League of Women Voters Ice Cream Socials
  • Bubs has apparently discontinued his "free weekly spamvertisements" from unused emails, from which Strong Bad was making 1250 dollars (5000 emails x a quarter each) every time he sold a disk of addresses.
  • In the easter egg, Strong Bad sings two notes at the same time on the word "true."

Glitches

  • After watching the "Power easter egg, " the paper comes down even though you haven't clicked on preeeow.

(Click & drag) // Possibly the most amazing thing i've EVER seen !!

Starbucks hitches cab ride

Starbucks Coffee is not only popping up on every street corner, it's springing from the roofs of Boston's taxicabs as well.
A holiday advertising gimmick placed atop cabs in recent weeks has been fooling Hub motorists who continually mistake the ad for a Starbucks cup left on the roof.
``It's pretty ingenious,'' said Larry Meister, vice president of the Independent Taxi Owners Association. ``People will pull up to cabs driving 55 miles per hour and start beeping and pointing to the roof.''
The coffee ad, a creation of Clear Channel Taxi Media, is a ``venti''-sized Starbucks cup magnetically connected to the roofs of about 100 cabs citywide. It is the first advertisement of its kind in the nation.
The approval of the ad, which will be phased out in the coming weeks, marks a departure from the city's normally conservative advertising policies. The Boston Police Department's licensing division has rejected most recent efforts to expand advertising on cabs.
``Frankly, this one was so creative we decided to let them do it for a limited period of time,'' licensing director Mark Cohen said. ``We thought we'd loosen up and see what the response is.''
In recent years, police have rejected proposals for wrap-around advertisements on taxis as well as wheel disks designed to promote a variety of products.
An official with Clear Channel, which advertises on 2,000 cabs in Boston, says the rooftop Starbucks ad was offered to a select number of cabs from a few companies. ``It creates a little buzz and excitement,'' said Michael MacDonald, a regional vice president for the company. ``It makes people look twice.''
While the rooftop ad has received significant praise, some drivers say it is so effective it actually creates a maddening distraction from people who point, beep and yell when they see it.
``It's a real pain for the driver,'' Meister said. ``People will stand in traffic and yell, `Hey, you left your coffee cup on the roof!' ''

Well first off, HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERBODY!!! I wish everyone and their family the best this year. That being said, it's time for the weekend update!

Friday New Year's Eve - Well I went all over Pinellas/Tampa that day while I was there. I went to Crazy Buffet for lunch with my friend Chris. Then to iMall. To Borders in Tampa, then to the one in Brandon for a book that ended up being overpriced. I decided to buy the iPod & iTunes Hacks book I wanted. I went to the Brandon Town Center as well. Then came back over to Pinellas and went to my parents house for a ham dinner. Then went downtown for First Night St. Pete. Nothing really big, but hung out with Mark, Matt, Elizabeth, and Eric. We had an okay time. We went downtown and had dinner at Moon Under the Water, deserts at TooJay's then to Project Creo art exhibition at the Pier (Mark's friend Kenny runs the place). We were thirsty and ended up at Johnny Rockets and then to the water to watch the fireworks.
iPod and iTunes Hacks

Saturday New Year's Day! - Went to iMall with Mark, Mathew, and Elizabeth. Later we played Apples to Apples before I took off back for home.

Sunday - Back at home, all alone.....sucks! Didn't do much. Watched The Virgin Suicides finally. It was a pretty good movie although I think Sophia Copolla is still kinda out there. No Boston Legal or Desperate Houswives on last night :-( . It did afford me some time to read more of Assassin by Ted Bell.
