Mitch Altman is an asshole. And not just any asshole, but one of those snotty holier-than-thou types who has nothing better to do with the money he made as a founder of 3ware than to develop a device with the sole purpose of imposing his viewpoint on others. See, Altman hates the television and its encroachment into public space. Rather than just doing what most everybody else has done�which is either not really caring or, failing that, getting the fuck over it�Altman has invented a device called the 'TV-B-Gone' (obviously having expended every last vapor of his creative ability developing the product, he was left to co-opt the most obvious name schtick ever). Essentially a universal remote that cycles through every possible code, the TV-B-Gone has a single purpose: to power off televisions whenever the user feels like being a dick.

Read the Wired News profile, where Altman wanders through a city, turning off other peoples' televisions, peppering his behavior with such gems as, "We just saved him several minutes of his life." Maybe after making his tens of dozens of dollars on the TV-B-Gone, Altman can invent a gadget that transports self-important cocks who think they're waging a subversive culture war to a log cabin coffee shop where they can reassure each other how awesome they are for hating television. Last day to shop

So, last night I endedup hanging out with Nate and Eric for most of the evening and spending the night over there because it was 3am when we looked at the clock. Today I have been out at the mall....not acatually shopping but rather making fun of people las minute shopping.

I am about to head to Quizno's I think and get my usual, then head home for the first time today.

Oh yeah, I'm wearing my Happy RamaHanuKwanzMas shirt and getting a ton of funny looks. At least I am not offendind anyonem because I'm including all of the holidays, and excluding none. I find the ChristmaHanuDon or whatever it offensive because it doesn't inclue Ramadon (sp?).

Lol omg I just saw Santa Claus...he was driving a city bus...it REALLY looked like him. I took a few pics and will try to upload them although they are from a bit away.

Oh we'll. I hope everyone has a lovely and special holiday season with their loved ones. I will be going over to my parents tonight and probably go to Christmas Eve service at church. Then just spending the night at their house, that way I'm up early so we can get to unwrwaping the presents.

I'm sorry if I don't post a word of the day or babe of the day for the next few days, but come on it's Christmas.... I mean heck I'm posting this while driving around town...
