Google SuggestNow Google is REALLY going for world web control... This new service came out today. It is nothing special, but it is semi-useful. As you type into the search box, Google Suggest guesses what you’re typing and offers suggestions in REALTIME. This is similar to Google's "Did you mean?' feature that offers alternative spellings for alternative spellings for your query after you search, except that it works in real time. It works very nicely in Mozilla, IE, etc...however crashes Konqueror.

Google Suggest FAQ

iTunes Music Store now Accepting PayPal

Apple and PayPal today announced that the US iTunes Music Store now accepts PayPal for purchases of music, audiobooks and gift certificates. Starting today, PayPal users can shop at the store with a credit card, bank account or stored account balance. "We are thrilled that PayPal users can now buy their music on the world's number one online music store," said Todd Pearson, general manager of PayPal's Merchant Services. "PayPal's virtual wallet offers iTunes customers the convenience of paying in the way they prefer." The first 500,000 customers to open a new iTunes account in the US using PayPal as their form of payment before March 31, 2005, will receive five free songs.

Froogle Shopping List Well Google's at it again...Global domination.

Amazon has been very well known for it's "Wish List"...this is a neat feature because you can email friends and family with your wish list for items for them to purchase off of Amazon ONLY... Well Google's mixing it up a bit...they believe that people want more bang for their buck..

While Amazon does tend to be one of the cheapest online retailers, there is someone that will be able to undercut them by a bit. There is is where Froogle kicks in. Now when you are searching for something in Froogle click "Add to List" then go to your list and add it to Wish List.

They then give you a public site that is REALLY long that you should put a link to in an email to family members during the holiday and on your personal site...kinda like I have... Foogle Wish List

The one interesting thing is that Amazon is partnered with Google on it's use of it's A9 search service...why is Google trying to trump Amazon with a service that Amazon has been made famous for?

So, choose to go with Amazon or with Froogle...keep in mind that not many online retailers offer free shipping like Amazon does (on ordered over $25).....now go get your spend on inkernet!!!

Man that was an amazing event. The venue was beautiful, the set simple but perfect and the host of the show was an amazing man filled with stories that I would of paid twice as much to hear.

He spoke of his grandfather quite often, of his mother who comitted suicide when he was 12, his mother's "smoke cookies"...and most importantly a tribute for the troops that left the crowd giving a standing ovation for about 10 minutes.

What an amazing show... They were video taping the show, and hopefully it will be avaliable for sale on his site soon. It would make a great present for any one you care for.

Below is a pic taken in the middle of the salute to the troops. This image was sooo bright and brilliant that it almost seemed to be three dimentional and I was staring at the soldier and his children right there and then. The imagary was amazing.

The Word of the Day for December 10, 2004 is: Nazi
